November 1 | Minoru Chapel Opera Series
On the first Wednesday in November, hear selections from classic operas masterfully performed in an intimate and historic setting. Tickets start at $18.
November 1 | Endless Possibilities: A Mixed Media Art Exhibition
This exhibition highlights the artists’ creative expression and allows visitors to the Richmond City Hall Galleria to see beyond disability to ability. All ages are welcome and admission is free.
November 4 | Walk Richmond – Shell Road Trail
Join others in this unique walking trip where you discover the city like never before. The event runs from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
November 4 | Yanni

Legendary performer and composer Yanni will be playing at the River Rock Show Theatre on Saturday, November 4th, 2017. The piano maestro is kicking off his North American tour this fall featuring Yanni Conversations, “An Intimate Evening with Yanni – Up Close and Personal”. Tickets are $100.
November 5 | Holiday Vendor and Craft Fair
Enjoy music, food and drink samples and free crafting workshops while shopping for homemade and retail gifts and crafts. This event is for all ages and is free. It will run from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Thompson Community Centre.
November 8 | ICHIYO’S Matcha Customer Appreciation Party
There will be Usucha & Koicha tastings of some very high quality, notable Japanese brands, including Hoshino Seichaen, Ippodo Tea Co,, Marukyu Koyamaen, Tsujiri, and Tsuen. The event will be held at L’otus Cake Boutique in Richmond on Wednesday, November 8th, 2017, from 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 to cover costs.
November 11 | Remembrance Day Ceremony
Richmond’s Remembrance Day Ceremony will be held at the Cenotaph on the east side of Richmond City Hall. The program will run from 10:20 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. It will be opened by a military parade.
November 11 | SnowBall Classic
SnowBall Classic 2017 takes place at Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel on Saturday, November 11th and Sunday, November 12th. It is one of North America’s most prestigious dance competitions, showcasing ballroom dancing. Tickets start at $20.
November 12 | Steveston Cannery Farmers Market
This indoor community market, operated by the Gulf of Georgia Cannery Society, features local food and artisan merchants, in a unique historic cannery setting. Admission is free. Furthermore, guided heritage tours available on market days by donation. The market will be open this month on Sunday, November 12th and Sunday, November 26th, 2017.
November 12 | Gem and Mineral Show

Discover a variety of gems and minerals, demos and interactive games. The Gem and Mineral Show takes place on Sunday, November 12th from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Richmond Nature Park.
November 15 | International Wheelchair Bonspiel
The 11th Annual International Wheelchair Bonspiel takes place in Richmond from Wednesday, November 15th – Sunday, November 19th, 2017. Teams from around the world will look to showcase their best talent.
November 19 | Richmond Art & Culture Expo
The Richmond Art & Culture Expo is a free event that takes place on Sunday, November 19th, 2017. This is an opportunity to showcase your talent to the local community. It will take place at Hamilton Community Centre from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
