NAV Canada Is Hiring And You Can Earn $200,000 Annually

Canada’s job market has been quite rough as of late, but that doesn’t mean you’re out of luck. To those looking for a job or a career change, then NAV Canada is hiring for loads of positions that you could be qualified for.

You could earn huge dollars for these jobs, including a salary of $201,000!

NAV CANADA REQUIREMENTS

For many of these openings, you are only required to have a high school education, as well as some applicable training or experience. While some do ask for you to have at least completed a relevant bachelor’s degree from a post-secondary institution, an appropriate combination of training and/or experience can also suffice, depending on the position.

A number of these positions are also located in eastern Canada. This includes a Flight Service Specialist and Senior Enterprise Network Architect. To those of you who don’t mind relocating for work, then these jobs may be of interest to you.

As for western Canada, three listings are available: Manager for ATS Learning DevelopmentAir Traffic Controller, and Major Tower Manager. The requirements for these positions vary, but two of these only require you to have your high school diploma at minimum.

Of these listings, Air Traffic Controller holds the title of being the highest-paying position. The salary begins at $56,899 to $59,550 during training, but then it rockets to $101,221 to $201,407 after. NAV Canada is hiring Air Traffic Controllers all across Canada, including Vancouver.

We’ve listed the requirements below for NAV Canada’s hiring positions in western Canada, so you know exactly which jobs you can apply for.

AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLER: $56,899 to $59,550, $101,221 to $201,407

  • Be at least 18-years-old or older
  • Have your high school diploma or its equivalent
  • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
  • Clear verbal communication skills
  • Memorization and teamwork skills
  • Effective problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities
  • Willing to relocate to any locations where air traffic controllers work

MANAGER FOR ATS LEARNING DEVELOPMENT

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in education or related field
    • OR have related experience with knowledge of evaluation, adult education, training system design, curriculum development, and measurement and testing
  • At least three years experience in operational training or management.
  • Experience in:
    • Managing diverse multi-disciplinary teams
    • Teaching and training adults
    • Leading and facilitating groups with diverse backgrounds
    • Designing and developing curriculum, measurement and evaluation methodologies, and project management
    • Training instructional and teaching staff

  • Completed high school
  • Experience in project management, maintaining relationships with both internal and external customers, financial skills, and supervisory and managerial roles for an ATC project
  • Have knowledge in:
    • Certification for ATC airport/terminal operations
    • Human resource policies, procedures, and practices
    • MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
    • Aviation and industry trends
    • Operational policies, standards, procedures, and techniques
