Coming this summer is the 9th annual Live Symphony performance at Jack Poole Plaza! Presented by Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra, Ledcor, and PCI Developments, you are sure to be dazzled by these amazing performances underneath the stars. Led by Conductor Ken Hsieh, this open-air symphony is backdropped against Vancouver’s breathtaking waterfront and North Shore mountains.

The Concerts at the Pier
White Rock’s iconic outdoor concert series returns for another year to delight audiences. Presented by TD Ready Commitment, these concerts are backdropped against White Rock’s beautiful beaches, and take place over 5 days. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring their blankets, grab some food from one of White Rock’s many amazing restaurants, and settle in for the tunes.

So, who can you catch onstage? The band Odds has already completed their performance date, but you can still see Mostly Marley performing on July 10, a band of four whose Classic Reggae remains true to the spirit of the genre. Simply Queen will be appearing on July 17, performing live tributes to the legendary rock band Queen. sGaanaGwa will be there on August 14 with their blends of modern and Haida knowledge into music. Finally, Five Alarm Funk will be performing on August 21, bringing their supersonic vibes straight to Memorial Park.

Chillin’ in the Park Music Festival 2025
Mount Pleasant’s fourth annual Chillin’ in the Park music and beer festival is coming this July. Hosted at Guelph Park– though better known as “Dude Chilling Park”– this family-friendly and community-focused concert will feature a variety of local indie bands and musicians. There will also be plenty of local craft beers and eats available from Mount Pleasant’s favourite spots.

The performers include Tiger Really, La Lune, Boom Effect, Bufflehead, and Niña Mendoza. Pair these performances with food and drinks from Main Street Brewing, Brassneck Brewing, Steamworks Mount Pleasant, The Pleasant, Carp Sushi, and AJ’s Brooklyn Pizza Joint, and you’re set for an amazing day. Burnaby Blues + Roots Festival
Set against the scenic backdrop of Deer Lake Park, Burnaby Blues + Roots Festival is a celebration of all things music, community, and culture. Featuring an eclectic lineup of artists from all walks of life– from the legendary to the rising, these musicians are filling the air with “soul-stirring melodies and infectious rhythms.”

This year’s lineup includes Grammy award-winner Ani DiFranco, as well as JUNO award-winning artist Aysanabee and Hollywood songwriter Judith Hill. BC Country Music award-winner Jackson Hollow will also be performing. Public Disco Block Party: Downtown [All Vinyl Edition]
Public Disco is bringing the good times with their All Vinyl Block Party! This will be Public Disco’s final Block Party from their series, and it’s going to be the largest of the summer. Featuring local all-vinyl DJs, food trucks, pop-up bars, a record and vintage market, and a kid’s zone, this is one Public Disco Block Party you won’t want to miss.

This party’s lineup is curated by DJ Dairy Free, with all-vinyl sets from some of the city’s most trusted selectors. The Vancouver Art Gallery will backdrop the festivities, and the plaza will be brimming with room to post up and listen to the sets. The party is all-ages, and welcomes everyone to hear what makes Vancouver’s music scene so special.
