What better way to celebrate all things T-Swift than by checking out Vancouver’s very own Mirrorball? Science World is hosting an exclusive Science World After Dark: Eras Edition on Dec. 4. Swifties are encouraged to dress up as their favourite era for an Enchanted evening of Swiftie science.

There will be a sing-along dance party to showcase your Fearless moves and you can test your Swift knowledge with a trivia challenge (with everything from Taylor’s dating history to her cat’s names). Attendees can also showcase their Mastermind, by crafting their very own science-inspired binary code friendship bracelets.

Vancouver Christmas Market’s Swiftie Trivia & Karaoke

Put your Taylor Swift knowledge to the test at the Vancouver Christmas Market. This beloved Christmas tradition will take you Back to December with a special Swiftie flex pass this season, which provides Swifties with unlimited access to the market during concert week (Dec. 4 to 10).

Even the Vancouver Aquarium is getting into the Swiftie spirit in December. If you visit the aquarium between Dec. 6 to 8, they will have special programming for Taylor Swift’s concert week. Check out Donnelly’s Musical Journey daily at 2 p.m. for its seal feed program.

Guests can learn all about rescue seal Donnelly and her story through song. Of course, we mean Taylor Swift songs like, This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things, Long Story Short and crowd favourite — Long Live.

Canyon Lights (Taylor’s Version)

‘Tis the Damn Season. The classic Canyon Lights at North Vancouver’s Canyon Lights (Taylor’s Version). To mark Swift’s arrival, the bridge will transform into a giant friendship bracelet. Visitors can also enjoy live music from a Taylor Swift tribute artist on-site, as well as several photo ops throughout the park.

There will even be different names for the park’s many attractions, with the Treetops Adventure being called Taytops Adventure and the Cliffwalk being dubbed the Swiftwalk. And of course, it wouldn’t be a celebration without Taylor-inspired treats. Try their Midnights Mint Chocolate Chip Fudge, Evermore Eggnog, or Today was a Fairytale cocktail.

Swifties will be taking over a party boat for six cruises throughout the three-day period of the Eras weekend. From Fearless to Midnights (and everything in-between) — there will be lots of Eras to sing and dance along to courtesy of a DJ — all while cruising around Vancouver of course.

There will also be a photo booth, friendship bracelet making stations, themed drinks and snacks, and fan message stations. Be sure to dress to impress though — as there will be prizes awarded to the Swifties with the best outfits.

Taylor Swift Karaoke Trolley Tour

Make your Wildest Dreams come true with a Taylor Swift Karaoke Trolley Tour. The Great Canadian Trolley Company will pick you up at Canada Place and drop you off at Library Square — with lots of karaoke fun to be had onboard.

While cruising through Stanley Park, you can sing along to early Swift classics such as Love Story and You Belong With Me. Other popular songs will be sung as the tour passes by the iconic totem poles and Prospect Point. And perhaps the highlight of the tour is getting the chance to belt out the lyrics to Cruel Summer while passing through English Bay.

If you’re wondering where the pre-party is — look no further than Bentall Centre. The The Eras Pre-Party is taking place between 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Dec. 6 and 7. Organizers promise it will help set the tone for an “unforgettable” night.

It’s free to attend (including a free shuttle to BC Place!) and open to all ages. Activities include friendship bracelet making, a DIY patch station, photo ops and an Eras lounge. Cocoa and cocktails can also be purchased on-site.

The Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts (PICA) is preparing for December’s major concert events and the arrival of a global music icon by hosting two Taylor Swift-inspired events on its campus.

On Dec 7 from noon to 4 pm they will be hosting a Bake It Off! Taylor Swift Baking Class teaching how to make cozy cinnamon bread, chai cookies, and more.

Then on Dec 8 from 4 to 6 pm, they will be serving a buffet dinner with fan favourites like Anti-Hero Mac ‘n’ Cheese Fritters, Shake it Off Mini Corn Dogs, Fearless Mini Cheeseburgers and more.

A new Swiftcouver sign has been installed in downtown Vancouver, offering a picture-perfect photo opportunity. Situated along the seawall near Canada Place and the Vancouver Convention Centre, visitors can capture photos day or night with the stunning North Shore mountains as the backdrop.
