The Asian Arts and Culture Society is hosting the inaugural BC Dumpling Festival at Town Centre Park in Coquitlam this summer.
The event is scheduled to take place on August 13 featuring live entertainment, kid-friendly activities, food trucks, along with a beer garden
There will also be a dumpling competition featuring dumplings from around the world.
“This festival is a celebration of the diverse community we live in and brings together families, friends, neighbours, community organizations and businesses from different cultures to share food, entertainment and laughter,” state organizers.
Admission is free.
