This 24-hour convenience store is entirely self-serve, with not a single employee in sight. That’s right: it’s a store with nobody but customers, open around the clock, and is fully stocked with all the goods you need.
And this isn’t like Amazon’s Just Walk Out “technology”. This is real.

Aisle 24 Market was first founded in 2015, and the company launched their first store in Ontario. It has since expanded into several neighbourhoods, including other provinces.
Their Vancouver store is located at Landmark on Robson at 1450 Robson Street. There is currently another location in development in Richmond, said to be located near Richmond Hospital. The spot is slated to open in summer. Aisle 24 also has plans to expand into Burnaby by 2027 as they continue to grow throughout Metro Vancouver in the years to come.

The entire self-serve process is managed by an app. As expected, there are no cashiers and is wholly unattended. No small talk is necessary here.
Customers must download an app and create an account in order to enter the store. The app and account acts as a key that allows you to unlock the door, so you may start your shopping experience.

Once in the store, there are security systems in place to control theft and track inventory. Remember: they know who is in the store based on the account.
Digital tags are placed on every product, and updated electronically. Customers can pick up whatever they need like a traditional store, and they pay for exactly as they would in a self-serve checkout.
Aisle 24 stores are open 24/7 and carry average convenience store goods such as snack food, health products, baked goods, deli items, produce, frozen foods, some fresh foods, select household items and beverages.
