Remember Melissa Joan Hart in Sabrina The Teenage Witch? Well, Netflix is bringing the beloved character of Sabrina Spellman back with Kiernan Shipka in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

The highly anticipated Archie Comics adaptation started filming locally in March. And, it is expected to be released later this year. Furthermore, the series is set in the same ‘universe’ as CW’s Riverdale which also films in town.

18-year-old Kiernan Shipka from Chicago, Illinois is best known for her role as Sally Draper on AMC’s Mad Men. She also had a role in a season of FX’s anthology series Feud last year as Bette Davis’ daughter B. D. Merill. She now puts on her witches’ hat as half-mortal and half-witch Sabrina Spellman.
