Thanks to an unsealed lawsuit filed in favour of WWE regarding counterfeit goods for this year’s WrestleMania, a “tentative itinerary” of live events is also now public record. The tentative list includes two stops in British Columbia for WWE Live events including a return to Vancouver:

Most recently, WWE Live stopped in Abbotsford this February as part of the Road to WrestleMania tour. The week-long WrestleMania festivities took place in Orlando this April and included Axxess – the multi-day fan expo, the 2017 Hall of Fame ceremony, events for the NXT, Raw and SmackDown brands and of course the grandest stage of them all – WrestleMania 33.
There are still no signs of television or pay-per-view shows returning to Vancouver anytime soon, so count yourself lucky if you attended one in the 90’s. Vancouver hosted two “In Your House” PPV’s: International Incident on July 21, 1996 and Rock Bottom on December 13, 1998.
WWE Studios has filmed its last three installments of The Marine franchise in and around Vancouver. The most recent, The Marine 5: Battleground starred Mike “The Miz” Mizanin, Maryse, Curtis Axel, Heath Slater, Bo Dallas and Naomi.
Fans may remember the last televised RAW IS WAR in Vancouver at General Motors Place (now Rogers Arena) on Monday, May 29th 2000. There was reported violence and destruction and a rumoured ban from the arena after that event. From then on, house shows have taken place at PNE Agrodome, PNE Coliseum and Abbotsford Centre.
Pro-wrestler turned Hollywood icon, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is set to star in the action thriller movie Skyscraper which begins filming in China and Vancouver this summer.
Event dates are reported “tentative live event dates” and subject to change.
