“King Geroge Hub redefines what it means to live, work, and shop in Surrey,” reads the development’s website. “It was not designed to be part of the community– it was envisioned to be the heart of the community. Must-have stores, transit options, workspaces, services and everyday conveniences have come together to create an incredibly livable, walkable, sustainable urban shopping centre.”
NEW FOOD SPOTS
There are already a number of restaurants and take-out spots in the area, but it’s always exciting when new ones are coming soon. Not long ago, we reported on Breka coming to King George Hub– the first outside of Vancouver. This 24/hour shop was already popular enough to have people coming all over the city just to try its treats, but this new, centralized location will allow even more to have some of Breka’s creations.

Here are the restaurants and cafes you can look forward to in the new development– with one of them recently opened!
- Breka
- Big Way Hot Pot
- Pokerrito
- Chaiiwala
- Ruex Cafe and Bar– now open!
