Vancouver’s Newest Brewery, Container Brewing, Is Now Open

Container Brewing East Vancouver Brewery

East Vancouver is opening a new brewery today, and for this local hipster, more craft beer is a cause for celebration.

Container Brewing has been in business since 2018, serving its crafted drinks in restaurants and liquor stores throughout the city.

But now they have finally opened up their own spot at 1216 Franklin Street – and it’s officially open at 3 pm today.

If you haven’t had Container Brewing before, there will be 10 beers on tap to choose from. At the top of the list is their Dry Nitro Stout and it’s super light and smooth.

If you’re looking for something not quite as dark, you can try one of two Grisette beers, which is similar to a Saison. Or you could dig in to the Cold Box Lager.

For something hoppier, their Forty Footer West Coast IPA is certainly worth a try.

But if that’s not your jam and you’re going for the sake of your beer-loving friends, Container Brewing will also have a cider on tap.

The Vancouver-based company will also have food on the menu by both the brewery and Memphis Mike’s BBQ food truck.

What beer are you most looking forward to trying?
