How or why does a helicopter pilot start a YouTube channel?
Well for one Bradley Friesen it was the ultimate way to share some of the inspiring and adventurous footage he has the opportunity to capture from his very own bird in the sky. The Dragon’s Den alumni and self-proclaimed Reddit addict loves the natural beauty of his home province and loves flying above it all even more. This is evident from all of his flight videos which are semi-concocted collaborations turned cinematic masterpieces.
He often roams the skies with his trusty English Bulldog named Mister Bentley. Together they come across some breathtaking and unique locations around British Columbia for Olympians to figure skate or hockey players to play. Some of Bradley’s stunning videos and highlights will be showcased at Vancouver Web Creators Night which also features a special performance by local hip hop artist K!mmortal.
Shot by @househippomedia last weekend. Flew an hour north to the Lillooett Icecap to check on a lake with 50′ iceberg floating around in it. Water temp is currently 3 degrees. Could freeze into a fairly nice setting for a hockey game in Oct… Just saying. #Repost @househippomedia ・・・ Set some thermostats north of pemby to help us better anticipate the arrival of our first hockey rink ? #pnw #beautifulbc #hockey #winter #canada #helicopter #canadian #canada #explorebc #explorecanada #vancity #vancitybuzz #beautifulbc #explore #getoutside #youtube #video #project #glacier #iceberg #aviation #adventure #wanderlust #pnw #pnwonderland #pnwcollective #hellobc #igtravel #instagood
Definitely a fan of spots like this. Took the fine people from from @ssgparkspics, who operate Golden Ears Provincial Park for a ride this week so they could see what’s in the inaccessible back half of their park. Can’t wait to see their pics from the trip as they post them on their Instagram. @yourbcparks #beautifuldestinations #beautifulbc #hellobc #explorebc #explorecanada
Game is about to start. We’re at 5,300′, standing on a lakes that’s probably 100′ deep or so, and Manny Malhotra says, “group picture! Everyone get in here…” I’m doing the math I my head… “18 people, with @ilancumberbirch being the 240lbs boat anchor puts us easy at 200lbs per person average… So, carry the 1…. That’s like 3800lbs!!!” “Can we please take this picture really quick, and all move away!!!” I’ve fallen through enough lakes to know I never want to fall through with 17 of my closest friends. But, the ice held! Game on! #HockeyHeaven #ExploreBC #ExploreCanada
