Metro Vancouver Weather Forecast Calling For Up To 90mm Of Rain

Raincouver is in full effect.

Environment Canada has extended Metro Vancouver’s rainfall warning to Friday morning.

It’s in effect for:

  • City of Vancouver – including Burnaby and New Westminster
  • Metro Vancouver – northeast including Coquitlam and Maple Ridge
  • North Shore – including West Vancouver and North Vancouver

Metro Vancouver Weather Forecast

Heavy rain continues Thursday with total rainfall amounts of 70 – 90 millimetres expected by Friday morning.

Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads.

If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance. Watch for possible washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts.
