Vancouver residents should keep an eye out for new grey boxes on their doorstep between now and April 2016.
In 2014, The City of Vancouver launched a new expanded provincial recycling program to further filter the way residents should be recycling. In commitment to the program, the city will be delivering a new box to single family residences that will be dedicated to collecting glass bottles and jars from other containers.
The new grey boxes will arrive anytime between January and April 2016, and the city is encouraging residents to begin using them as soon as they arrive.

Residents yet to receive a grey box can find out when they’ll be receiving it here. Replacement grey boxes will also be available for pickup at these city locations after May 15, 2016.
