Vancouver Pool Will Dye Water Pink For Valentine’s Day

Vancouver Pool Will Dye Water Pink For Valentine's Day

If you’re looking to try something new on February 14th, or if your Valentine passionately loves Pink – we’ve got just the thing!

The Vancouver Park Board has announced Hillcrest Centre’s pool, the largest indoor swimming pool in Vancouver ,will celebrate Valentine’s Day 2014 by dying the water in their swimming pool pink on Friday afternoon.

For those that are wondering – yes it’s safe. The facility will use “Party Pool!”, a non-toxic pigment that will leave the entire pool pink for 24 hours, and ironically doesn’t leave any dye on you or your hair. Hillcrest Centre has previously dyed their pool red for Canada Day celebrations.

There’s a slight catch though.. the price to take a dip in the pink swimming pool will apparently range between $10 to $20 per person!
