Uncle Tetsu Canada is a hit on the east coast with four locations in Toronto, but now the Japanese-style cheesecake joint will be heading west to the best coast.
Metropolis at Metrotown has been selected as the first Vancouver-area spot to boast the new store.
Each cake is handmade daily, using the best of cheeses and only fresh local ingredients. The melt-in-your-mouth decadent dessert is smooth, rich and creamy—which of course, will be a welcomed addition to the popular shopping centre.
While the brand has been around in Japan for 25 years, it’s still relatively new to Canada—opening in Toronto back in 2015.
While it’s yet to be determined exactly when the shop will open, it’ll likely be soon.
The location will be right next the newly opened MUJI store.
Besides delicious cheesecake, the store also serves up honey madeleines and tasty cheese tarts. For more information, visit their website.
