The suspects first loaded two bikes and three tires into the backseat of the car. Shortly afterwards, the suspect in the passenger seat gives the driver to keys to the car.
“Don’t drive it like you stole it” says the passenger in the video.
A few minutes later, the female suspect in the passenger seat asks the male driver “you don’t think this is a Bait Car or anything?” and he responds “not even close!”
At the 1:25 mark of the video, the two individuals notice a police car and the female passenger says “he’s turning”.
After the thieves realize that they were indeed in a bait car, Ridge Meadows RCMP safely disabled the engine and arrested them.
