Fish tacos, anyone?
The iconic Tacofino will be opening a new location in Yaletown—this will be their third restaurant in Vancouver.
The Mexican-inspired eatery serves up some of the best tacos and burritos in the city.
The new location is expected to open sometime in June and will occupy the former Saladworks shop at 1025 Mainland Street.
The style of the restaurant will be similar to that of the location in Gastown—with a taco bar and dine-in and take-out options. There will also be a 16-seat patio to fit extra guests who want to enjoy the outdoors while they chow down.
The restaurant itself will seat 40 guests and it will have a relaxed yet eccentric atmosphere.
The company started in Tofino, hence their name. They began with just a food truck, and now have multiple trucks—with more restaurant locations popping up throughout the city, and one in Victoria.
Vancouverites can’t seem to get enough of their fresh, crispy ling cod tacos—and don’t forget those decadent diablo cookies! Fingers crossed they join the 2016 Vancouver Taco Festival lineup!
