Swoop, who refers to itself as the “Robin Hood of all Airlines,” has announced a new route out of Abbotsford.
The airline will offer flights out of Abbotsford International Airport (YXX) twice a week to Puerto Vallarta (PVR). In addition, they’ll also offer service twice a week to Mazatlán International Airport (MZT). The new routes will begin January 12, 2019 and January 20, 2019, respectively.
“Mexico continues to flourish as one of the most popular vacation destinations for Canadians,” said Steven Greenway, President of Swoop. “Combining Swoop’s ultra-low fare with the favorable exchange between the dollar and peso makes the value proposition of exploring Mexico enticing for families and budget travellers alike.”
The flights are available for booking from their January start dates through April 27, 2019.
Swoop airlines is offering a web only seat sale, with flights between Abbotsford to Puerto Vallarta costing $159 each way. Abbotsford to Mazatlan will cost $179 each way.
When booking with Swoop, keep in mind that seat selection, seat upgrades, carry-on and checked baggage, food & beverage service and in-flight entertainment are not included in the listed fare.
But if you can live without the extras and are looking for a budget friendly escape, this just might be it.
