Metro Vancouver’s got another big lottery winner after Wednesday’s Lotto 6/49 draw.
There was some major potential for somebody to win some big bucks with this week’s first draw. And while the $42 million gold ball didn’t get picked, the 17th white ball was.
Matching the numbers 19306567-01 has left one Surrey man taking home the $1 million White Ball prize. And he isn’t the only B.C. resident who’s had some super success with the lottery recently!
A man from Kamloops just won B.C.’s largest Scratch & Win prize ever. He was so shocked when he learned of his win that he thought to himself, “Are those numbers really that big?”

Another man from Surrey also broke some B.C. lottery-winning records with his massive $80 million win. Justin Simporios was out getting some last-minute groceries when he purchased a $12 Quick Pick Lotto Max ticket that netted him his giant win.
And that’s not all. A Vancouver man won $40 million after picking up a Bubly and a few lottery tickets. Unfortunately, his first ticket was a bust. But, his second one came up with a bunch of zeroes that announced his winnings. He almost forgot to check his tickets, too!

The next Lotto Max draw is on August 22 and the next Lotto 6/49 draw is on August 23, so you still have time to get a ticket if you’re feeling lucky.
But remember: know your limit, play within it.
