Last but not least, the final location is set to open in early 2017 with an 1,800-square-foot space at 409 Granville Street. The café will seat 60 people, including 15 on the patio.
“We’re extremely excited to not only grow the Railtown brand but to introduce ourselves to some new local neighbourhoods in the coming months,” says Olson. “We look forward to fostering the same fun, friendly environment and sense of community for staff and customers in our new locations that we’ve become known for at our original cafe where it all began.”
Railtown Café has been open for four years and has gone through a year of incredible growth. They serve everything from signature handmade sandwiches and salads to artisan bread and pastries. They also offer locally roasted coffee, cold-pressed juices and a variety of craft beer and wine.
The café is holding a Customer Appreciation Day on July 22nd to mark their four-year anniversary. They will be handing out complimentary ice cream cones and housemade sangria between 2pm to 6pm at their flagship location (397 Railway Street).
