There’s nothing like a cameo from an ex-Beatle to help close out production of a highly anticipated film.
Paul McCartney, who is scheduled to perform back-to-back concerts in Rogers Arena later this month will reportedly arrive in Vancouver earlier than expected to film a scene in the fifth installment of Pirates of the Caribbean; Dead Men Tells No Tales according to Deadline.
Pirates of the Caribbean began filming in Vancouver earlier this week, and is reportedly renting a hangar in North Vancouver’s Seaspan shipyards with a large pirate-ship set built inside. Filming is scheduled to wrap up April 13.
It has been reported that the main characters including Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, and Kaya Scodelario are in Vancouver for the filming. There’s no word however if any of them will be in the scene with Paul McCartney, or what McCartney’s role is.
Pirates of the Caribbean; Dead Men Tells No Tales hits the big screen on May 26, 2017.
