From October 21 to November 1, The Westin Bayshore, Vancouver will transform into Westin BOOshore, bringing Halloween to life across the property with glowing installations, spooky seasonal décor, festive activities, themed bites and a special cocktail menu.
The experience is designed for both hotel guests and Vancouver locals, with Halloween touches extending through the lobby, restaurants and courtyard.
Whether stopping in for a meal at H Tasting Lounge or H2 Kitchen + Bar, joining one of the seasonal activities, taking in the Halloween atmosphere or booking a spooky staycation to experience it all, visitors will find plenty of ways to enjoy BOOshore throughout the Halloween season.
The Westin Bayshore is getting a Halloween transformation

Throughout the hotel, familiar spaces will take on a much more playful Halloween personality.
Expect glowing pumpkins, atmospheric lighting, webs, larger-than-life Halloween décor and unexpected characters appearing throughout the Bayshore. Some displays will be impossible to miss, while others will be tucked into windows, corridors and other corners of the hotel for guests to discover along the way.
The transformation continues outside, too.
After dark, the Bayshore courtyard will glow with illuminated installations, eerie lighting and Halloween décor woven throughout the gardens and pathways.
Even the hotel’s heated outdoor pool will become part of the experience, with glowing eyes and reflections from the surrounding displays adding to the after-dark atmosphere.
Set against the hotel’s waterfront surroundings, it all comes together to create a Halloween setting that feels distinctly Bayshore.
There are Halloween activities for kids and adults
BOOshore will also feature a lineup of seasonal programming throughout its run.
Families staying for the weekend can look forward to Spooky Kids’ Cooking Classes and special performances, while other experiences include pop-up tarot card readings and additional Halloween activities happening throughout the hotel.
With a mix of daytime and after-dark programming, BOOshore can be anything from a family outing to a Halloween date night, depending on how you want to experience it.
Halloween is taking over the food and drinks too

The Halloween theme is making its way onto the menu across the hotel, with seasonal treats, desserts and cocktails created for the occasion.
At T&Co Café, the pastry case will get a festive makeover with limited-time Halloween treats and playful seasonal creations, perfect to pair with a coffee or take along for a fall walk around Coal Harbour.
At H2 Kitchen + Bar, guests can look forward to the return of the Coffin Cake, a spooky signature dessert created for BOOshore featuring layers of dark chocolate mousse, raspberry gel and chocolate soil, finished with a gold-dusted skull.
H Tasting Lounge is taking things a step further with The Midnight Apothecary, a limited-edition cocktail menu inspired by old-world apothecaries, botanical folklore and a touch of magic.
The lineup includes The Love Spell, with vodka, rose, elderflower and raspberry; The Nightshade, with tequila, passionfruit, Thai basil and Scotch bonnet; and The Oracle, combining gin, butterfly pea flower, citrus and sparkling wine.
There is also The Brew, an ever-changing rum punch, and The Antidote, an alcohol-free mix of Earl Grey tea, smoked plum, citrus and tonic.
Make it a Halloween staycation

For anyone looking for an excuse to stay downtown, BOOshore can easily turn into a full Halloween staycation.
Spend the day taking in the transformed hotel, enjoy dinner or cocktails, explore the courtyard after dark and then settle in for the night on Vancouver’s waterfront.
Locals can also drop in to experience the décor, grab a seasonal treat, enjoy a meal or snap a few Halloween photos along the way.
Westin BOOshore runs from October 21 to November 1 at The Westin Bayshore, Vancouver, with plenty of ways to experience the season whether you stay for the night or stop by for a visit.
