North Vancouver Vandal Smashed 18 Car Windows In One Night

North Vancouver RCMP are asking for information anyone might have about a series of car break-ins that took place earlier this month. According to police, between 11:00 p.m. on March 9th and 8:30 A.M. on March 10th, 2019, a North Vancouver vandal broke 18 car windows in just one night.

One or more people broke the front passenger windows of 18 different cars.

“All of the cars were parked on the street in the blocks bounded by St. Georges Ave. and Forbes Ave., between 2nd St. and 5th St.” reads a police statement.

“Whoever did it didn’t steal anything”, said Sgt. Peter DeVries, media spokesperson for the North Vancouver RCMP.

“In fact, they didn’t even enter any of the cars”

As of right now, investigators have no suspects and have not been able to find a clear motive.

Furthermore, anonymous tips can be made through Metro Vancouver Crime Stoppers, who will pay a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest.
