You may remember this event from previous years, or just seen pictures, to never forget Vancouver’s annual No Pants Skytrain ride day! Well that time of the year has come to ring in the 2013 year!
The No Pants Skytrain ride day will take place Sunday, January 13, where transit users will meet up, act like complete strangers, and get on the sky train in hopes of brightening up another persons day by making them laugh!
Want to participate in this year’s No Pants Skytrain ride? Here’s what you have to do:
- Show up to the Broadway Skytrain station – by the escalators, ground level, south side, across from Shoppers @ 1:00 pm, Sunday, January 13
- Come wearing normal clothes, underwear of course, and a backpack/purse/briefcase
- Do not talk to others as you enter the sky train, just proceed like it were any other day, also keep a straight face!
- Once the sky train takes off, casually remove your pants and put them into your backpack/purse/briefcase, all while keeping a calm, cool, and collected face!
- If people ask where your pants are, or why you took them off, act like you forgot to wear pants, or that you felt more comfortable without them today!
The point is to just play a long, and hopefully get some people to laugh!
