Mt. Seymour has announced Wednesday, November 30 as it’s opening day for the 2016/2017 season.
The mountain resort is feeling thankful after receiving an abundance of snow over the last week, pushing snow depth to 60cm in the base area and 95cm at the top of Mystery Peak.
Two terrain parks will be operational on opening day, with both the Mystery Peak Express Quad Chair and the Goldie Meadows Magic Carpet in operation.
Mt. Seymour’s opening hours:
- Monday – Friday: 1:00pm to 9:00pm
- Saturday – Sunday: 9:00am to 4:00pm

Season passes begin at $899 for adults ($499 until the end of November), with rentals starting $35. Day passes begin at $42 for adults, or $33 if you choose to hit the slopes between 5:00pm to 9:00pm.
New this year is a shuttle service from East Vancouver, operating seven days a week with three daily pickups and dropoffs.
