Nearly 1.5-Million Bulbs Blooming at Abbotsford’s Tulip Festival

Better late than never!

Due to colder weather this year, it took a little longer for the tulip fields to fill with colour, but it was worth the wait.

The Abbotsford Tulip Festival features rows upon rows of the popular Spring flower. Nearly 1.5-million of the field’s vibrant bulbs are now in bloom, making it the perfect time to visit.

Just a couple weeks ago, only 30 of the bulbs had bloomed, which is way behind schedule from previous years.

The event was scheduled to go on until May 7^th, but has now been extended until May 14th.
