It’s no secret that Langley is growing and developing with homes, townhomes and even sports venues. The area us bustling with new development.
Now it appears the Township of Langley will be welcoming its first ever high-rise buildings.
The construction by Vesta Properties is moving ahead with plans for residential towers in the area of Willoughby.
High-Rises Will Be Part of Latimer Heights
The new Langley high-rise buildings will be part of a massive development area called Latimer Heights.
This area is 74-acres in size, billion dollar property and will provide 2,000 units in total (across all developments). Latimer Heights goes from east of 201st Street between 82nd and 84th Avenue.
Much of the area will have townhomes. Towards the west of the land, closer to 201 and 200 streets, there will low-rise condos. Near the corner of the lot is where the towers will sit. They will be 34 and 26 storeys tall.
The entire development is expected to draw several thousand new residents into Langley Township.
The Area in Willoughby Langley
The up and coming development will be a thriving neighbourhood.
There are shops and restaurants, along with 17 acres of greenspace all interconnecting with several trails within neighbourhoods. There is also a new elementary school in the project design.
This area is expecting significant development soon, a mix of both residential and commercial. As a result, this area of Langley is becoming an exciting space to watch.
The high-rises in Langley will contribute 500 home and will be 34 and 26 stories tall.
