On Thursday, August 29th, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau took his time to get around a few Metro Vancouver communities.
He was first in Surrey, where alongside Premier John Horgan at BC Hydro’s training centre, announced their “joint commitment to connect BC’s natural gas sector with clean electricity”.

Today @johnhorgan4bc and I announced our joint commitment to connect BC’s natural gas sector with clean electricity. Together, we’re working to support infrastructure that supports clean energy, creates good middle class jobs & builds greener communities.
Justin Trudeau then decided to make a surprise appearance at Richmond’s T&T Supermarket in Lansdowne Centre.
That wasn’t all for our Prime Minister.
On his Instagram stories, it showed that he also stopped by a local White Spot location and also agrees that they have the best burgers.
With the federal election just around the corner, don’t be surprised if you see our Prime Minister touring your neighbourhood next.
