Get ready, Vancouver! The Japan Market Summer Festival is making its grand return to the Vancouver Art Gallery North Plaza on June 14 and 15, running from 11 AM to 7 PM each day. This isn’t just another market—it’s a full-blown celebration of Japanese culture, food, and artistry, right in the heart of downtown.
With over 80 vendors showcasing everything from Japanese-style crafts to mouthwatering street food, there’s something for everyone. Expect a lineup of food trucks serving up favourites like mochi donuts, sushi tacos, and matcha lattes. Whether you’re craving traditional treats or modern twists, your taste buds are in for a treat.
But it’s not just about the food. The festival will feature live Japanese cultural performances, interactive workshops, and even a chance to snap a photo with a samurai roaming the grounds. It’s an immersive experience that brings the spirit of Japan to Vancouver.
Early birds, take note: the first 50 attendees each morning will receive a $10 Japan Market voucher to spend at any vendor booth. And while we adore our furry friends, we recommend leaving pets at home due to the anticipated crowds.
📍 Location: Vancouver Art Gallery North Plaza, 850 W Georgia St, Vancouver, BC
