Christmas at District 1881 is returning to Downtown Chilliwack! This vibrant heritage district, reminiscent of a charming European town, has enchanted locals and visitors alike since its revitalization less than two years ago. Now, for the holiday season, it will become a winter wonderland.

Christmas at District 1881 Downtown Chilliwack 2025
During the winter months, District 1881 transforms into a festive haven. It is decorated with beautiful lights, and a towering 40-foot Christmas tree adds extra magic to the area, along with tons of seasonal decorations.
District 1881 is more than just a picturesque spot. It’s a cultural hub where the community gathers to enjoy its walkable streets, historic architecture, and thriving local businesses.
The area features loft-style apartments, trendy restaurants, unique boutiques, breweries, and creative office spaces. These businesses all contribute to the district’s lively atmosphere.

Throughout the holiday season, District 1881 will host a variety of special events, including:
- Photos with Santa
- Visits from the Grinch
- Live Music & treats

On November 29, you can also check out the Rotary Parade and Rotary Parade Party. The fun lasts before and after the parade with live entertainment, games, prizes, and plenty of holiday cheer. Comedian Cliff Prang and DJ Simon Bridgefoot will be there to keep the energy high through the late afternoon and evening.
