Christy Clark Changes Cabinet Responsibilities

Marijuana Activist Sends Christy Clark Pot In The Mail

Christy Clark, MLA for Westside-Kelowna and Premier of British Columbia has made some changes to cabinet responsibilities. The rearranging of some cabinet members is aimed at making B.C. residents benefit from the Liberal government’s plan to create jobs by growing the economy.

Ministry shuffling:

Peter Fassbender – Minister of Community Sport & Cultural Development and Minister Responsible for Translink (from Minister of Education)

Coralee Oaks – Minister of Small Business, Red-Tape Reduction and Minister Responsible for the Liquor Distribution Branch (from Minister of Community Sport & Cultural Development)

Naomi Yamamoto – Minister of State for Emergency Preparedness (now in the Ministry of Transportation & Infrastructure)

Mike Bernier – Minister of Education (from Parliamentary Secretary for Energy Literacy and the Environment)

Parliamentary secretary changes:

Jordan Sturdy – Parliamentary Secretary for Energy Literacy and the Environment (for Mary Polak – Minister of Envrionment). He will also chair the Climate Leadership Panel.
