Chip Wilson is a local Vancouver businessman and entrepreneur who has founded several retail apparel companies, most notably yoga-inspired athletic apparel company Lululemon!
Last Saturday, shortly after the Celebration of Light finished its finale for the summer, many in Kitsilano heard a live concert taking place at one of the biggest homes in the 604, one that belongs to Chip Wilson. Music fans quickly realized the loud tunes were the Red Hot Chili Peppers performing live in what seemed to be a backyard bash for Chip’s 40th birthday! The Red Hot Chili Peppers were paid $1 million for the private function.

There was roughly a 100+ in attendance including Trevor Linden and Paul Bissonnette of the Phoenix Coyotes, both whom took to Twitter to share insights of the party.
