Ryan Kesler made his first return to Rogers Arena on Thursday, November 20th since being traded in the off-season and joining the Anaheim Ducks.
The Vancouver Canucks, keeping it classy, honored Kesler with a tribute on the jumbotron. Kesler, who was on the bench at the time was able to watch the tribute, but didn’t really know how to react.
It probably didn’t help that only half the arena applauded him during the tribute while the other half boo’d him.
