If you’re looking to stop by CaliBurger on Thurlow, you’re out of luck. The In-N-Out doppelganger has permanently closed their downtown Vancouver location, just off Robson.
The burger joint only opened as the first CaliBurger location in BC back in the summer of 2016. The news just comes one month after announcing two new CaliBurger locations in Burnaby and Surrey.
The California-style eatery specializes in chicken sandwiches, Portobello mushroom burgers, the classic Cali Double and boozy milkshakes. Of course their Cali-style fries are always a hit, imitating In-N-Out’s classic dish. The fries are smothered in melted cheese, grilled sweet onions and topped off with their signature sauce.

Now to get your hands on one of their burgers you will have to visit one of their new Metro Vancouver locations, which haven’t opened their doors yet.
Their Burnaby location is will open January 2018, while the Surrey location is on tap to open later this Winter.
