The city of Vancouver is engaged in a bike share program that was just recently passed by the city council on July 23rd. In short, the program will run between Arbutus Street, 12th Avenue and Main Street and launch by early 2014.
1,500 seven-speed bikes and 125 solar-powered stations will be made available, along with helmet vending machines. The location for the stations is yet to be determined, which we’re sure will cause quite the debate.
