October is finally upon us. And that means it’s officially it’s the season of sweaters, Thanksgiving, Halloween, Fall-themed lattes, and pumpkins!
One of the best Autumn festivities is having some farm fun at a charming pumpkin patch and picking out the perfect pumpkin. From apple cider and hay rides to petting goats and picking pumpkins—you’re never too old for this cherished tradition.
So, without further ado, here are the best pumpkin patches in BC for you to check out this year.
Pumpkin Patches In BC
Eagle Acres Dairy Pumpkin Patch
They have tons of animals you can meet, including: cows, pigs, sheep and ponies. And of course, they have lots of pumpkins for you to choose from. Admission costs $9 per person.

Apple Barn Pumpkin Farm
Visit Taves Family Farms for some cold-pressed apple cider, hay rides, pony rides, corn mazes, a petting zoo, u-pick apples and of course—a plethora of pumpkins that can be picked at the patch. Prices per pumpkin range between $1 to $15, depending on size.

Laity Pumpkin Patch
If you’re heading to Maple Ridge, you can check out two different Laity locations for all your pumpkin needs. Admission is $7 and includes all attractions (pumpkins are extra). There’s barn animals, a corn maze and more.

Petey’s Pumpkin Patch
This spot has 5 different corn mazes to explore, train rides, an indoor play zone and a petting zoo. They also have a vast selection of pumpkins for you to go pumpkin hunting. Admission costs $8 per person.

Hazelmere Pumpkin Patch
Visit this popular pumpkin patch for a fun Autumn day with your friends or family. Admission is $7.50 and includes a hayride, mini corn maze, and access to the petting zoo!

Southlands Heritage Farms
Explore a farming atmosphere in the city at this pumpkin patch. Admission is by donation and each pumpkin is $6. They have a library on-site, so grab a book and sit in a straw pile. They also have lots of cute farm animals, including: goats, sheep, chickens, and horses.

Richmond Country Farms
A whimsical farm experience for all ages. Go on a tractor ride out to the pumpkin patch or hop on their miniature train. There’s also lots of food trucks and vendors on-site—making it the perfect place to spend an entire afternoon. Admission is $11.
Location: 12900 Steveston Hwy (Richmond)
For a unique pumpkin patch experience, head to Maan Farms. They have a special Cinderella and Snow White pumpkin patch that is full of beautiful photo-ops. Grab a pumpkin spice latte and some mini donuts too! Admission is $10.95. (Maan Farms also hosts several Halloween events, such as the Pitch Black farm and Haunted Corn Maze.)
