Live tiny in this absolutely adorable micro cabin located on private property in the quaint and charming Robert’s Creek. At 125-square-feet, it’s a cozy spot to unwind without TV and limited WiFi. It does however have a mini fridge with local beer, cards, board games (Jenga anyone?) and some unique books to keep you entertained and relaxed. The loft bed can comfortably sleep two and there’s even a yoga/meditation loft to practice your poses. It’s a stones throw away from many beaches, the vibrant Robert’s Creek pier and hiking trails.
Arcturus Retreat B&B in Gibsons
This spot is perfect if you don’t have a car because it’s within walking distance from the ferry. The B&B has a couple comfy rooms to choose from that feel like a home away from home. Each room also has its own balcony which has an amazing view of the Gibsons area. It’s so close to the ferry you can actually see them docked from the window. Play board games, relax with a glass of wine on the wrap-around deck or soak in the hot tub under the stars.
Rowena’s Inn cabins in Harrison Mills

So wish I was waking up in this dreamy little cabin this morning! Isn’t it stunning 😍 Our stay at @rowenasinn last week was so magical. Our cabin had the prettiest view, a big log fire, a huge big jacuzzi (🧖🏽♀️) + it just was the perfect little escape ✧ There are so many cool places to explore right on our doorstep, sometimes it’s easy to forget just how gorgeous they are. Where’s your fave place to visit for a little getaway from Vancouver?? 💫 . . . #golivexplore @tourismharrison #harrisonmills #pnw #explorebc #allaboutadventures #travelstoke #keepitwild #sheisnotlost #wearethewild #wildernessbabes #speechlessplaces | Photo by @mchutch5
Stay in Rowena’s Inn or one of their log cabins overlooking the river. Once you arrive here you will never want to leave and it’s got everything you need. The cabins are warm with cozy linens, a fireplace and a soaker tub for the ultimate relaxation. Have a cup of coffee on the porch while taking in the sounds of nature all around you. It also has a hot tub, pool and a restaurant within just a two-minute walk.
Hobbit house on Mayne Island
A unique getaway unlike any other. This cob house on the Gulf Islands looks as though hobbits should be living in it. It’s on private property where sheep and other farm animals roam around, that you’re even able to feed. Inside, stay warm by the fire and cook a meal in the full-kitchen before relaxing with a glass of wine. It’s on a small island but has a lot of cute shops and beautiful scenery to take in—making it the perfect escape to relax solo or with your besties.
Woods on Pender Island
Visit this glamping resort on Pender Island to spend your Galentine’s Day. It has a variety of accommodation styles, from motel rooms and cabins to airstreams. They’re also known for their Canadian Hot Tubs for two, which are nestled right in the woods (hence its name). Forget cooking, a quick walk from whichever accommodation you’re staying in is a restaurant right on the property. They’re also working on creating a spa airstream where you can get massages in the near future.
Riverside Resort yurts in Whistler
Go for a stroll through the village, get some tasty eats and fancy cocktails before relaxing at this luxurious resort that has both cabin accommodations and yurts. The best part is it’s also close to the Scandinave Spa and no Galentine’s can be complete without a spa day. Plus, there’s so much to do in and around Whistler, whether you like skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, axe-throwing, shopping, sight-seeing or just relaxing.
