After selling out all of the tickets to her first Vancouver event, Michelle Obama announced that she’s adding a second date in the city.

The international role model was already slated to appear on February 15th at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre for the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade (GVBOT), and the show sold out in lightening speed; members of the GVBOT snagged all the tickets before the public had an opportunity.

Now, the former first lady announced will hold a second appearance prior to that event in the same venue.

“Michelle Obama is a role model for millions of women and youth, and an inspiring speaker,” said Anne Giardini, Chair of the Board and Chancellor of Simon Fraser University.

The second event will take place in the afternoon prior to the scheduled 6 pm event appearance.

Advance tickets go on sale Monday, January 22nd to the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade. If any tickets remain, then the general public may purchase them on Thursday, January 25, 2018.
