Occupy Vancouver protesters disrupted the first major mayoral debate of the civic election, shouting down Vision Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson and Non-Partisan Association Coun. Suzanne Anton and making it clear that dealing with the tent city at the Vancouver Art Gallery will be a significant issue in the Nov. 19 civic election.
Several protesters – including some disguised as reporters – were ejected by security at Simon Fraser University’s Woodward’s campus after they repeatedly interrupted a tightly-scripted debate put on by the Vancouver Board of Trade.
