Kitsilano pool is set to open this weekend, marking an unofficial start to summer in Vancouver.
It opens for the season on Saturday, May 20th, and will remain accessible for a dip until Monday, September 4th.
The family-friendly pool is Vancouver’s only saltwater swimming pool and is located right along Kitsilano Beach.

To kickoff the season, the pool will be open from 12:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Beginning Monday, June 12th, the pool will be open from 7:00 a.m. on weekdays.
The heated pool is wheelchair accessible, offers three slides, and measured to be 137 metres in length. This makes it over double the size of an Olympic pool.
