We all know how unpredictable weather can be in the 604.

And with Halloween just around the corner, we’re not always lucky enough to have clear skies for trick or treating outdoors.

Best Neighborhoods To Trick-or-Treat in Metro Vancouver

If you want to keep your little monsters warm and dry this Halloween season, but still rake in the candy, we’ve comprised a list of malls that will offer trick or treating all from the comfort of the great indoors!

Here are the best malls to hit up this year that offer either trick or treating, or some other Halloween fun for the family:

Guilford Town Centre

Dress your kids up as their favourite characters and partake in Guilford Town Centre’s Halloween Dress Rehearsals at the Disney Store. On Saturday, October 15h and 22nd, join in on games, craft making, a costume parade, free giveaways and more! Must be 3 years old to participate. Happening from 11am-12:30pm. Located at 2695-10355 152nd Street, Surrey.

City Square Shopping Centre

If you’re looking for some extra candy for your kiddies, City Square Shopping Centre (located next to Vancouver General Hospital) is hosting Halloween Hunt on Saturday, October 29th with trick or treating available at participating retailers. There will be prizes for all completed Halloween Hunt maps. Take part in other activities, such as the Mad Science Show, Slime Making, Face Painting and Cupcake Decorating. Happening from 12-3pm. Located at 555 12th Avenue West, Vancouver.

Coqutilam Centre

If you live in the suburbs and want to keep your kiddies indoors, Coquitlam Centre invites you to celebrate Halloween by trick or treating all about the mall. All kids 12 and under are welcome, but you must be in your costume to receive your treats! Happening from 4-5pm. Located at 2929 Barnet Highway, Coquitlam.

Get your treat on! Lougheed Town Centre offers trick or treating for all kids under 12, with a little surprise for parents, too. Suggested donations of $1 per child will benefit the Burnaby Firefighters Charitable Society. Be sure to capture your costumes in the Photo Booth – open from 4-6pm. Trick or treat between 4-5pm on October 31st. Located at 106-9855 Austin Avenue, Burnaby.

Metropolis at Metrotown

Although not all stores are participating (imagine all the candy you would get if they did!), Metrotown will have tricks and treats available at certain shops. Dress up and wind your way through Vancouver’s biggest shopping centre on October 31st. Times were not confirmed, but show up around 4-6pm and you’ll most likely be in luck. Located at 4700 Kingsway, Burnaby.
