Best Restaurants In Maple Ridge
Billy Miner Alehouse and Café has an abundance of tasty beer on tap and a variety of mouth-watering burgers to tempt your appetite! The café is situated along the river bend, so you’ll enjoy a beautiful view with your dinner. We absolutely adore the Outlaw Burger: a juicy beef patty, guacamole, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, Jalapeño crisps and Billy Burger sauce. Located at 22355 River Road.
Black Sheep Pub is Ridge’s hidden gem. Ask any local where they love to dine, and guaranteed the Black Sheep is on their list. It’s been voted best pub for a reason! Not to mention all the unique menu items such as Snake Bites (they’re actually chicken tenders with red pepper jelly), Steak and Kidney Pie, and our favourite, the BBQ Beef Ribs – made with their own tangy sauce. Located at 12968 232nd Street.

Golden Ears Cheesecrafters is the only place you’ll be buying your gooey cheeses! Though it technically isn’t a restaurant, we had to include this place simply because their cheese is to die for. Each cheese is handcrafted and made with artless ingredients, starting with farm fresh jersey milk. We love our wine and cheese nights, and Golden Ears Cheesecrafters has always made our cheese plates shine. Be sure to get a pound or two of the cheese curds for some homemade poutine! Located at 22270 128th Avenue.
Chameleon feels like you’re Yaletown. This place takes fine dining to the next level with a chic lounge ambiance. The menu showcases unique flavours with items like the Cajun Prawn Tacos and Goat Cheese and Roasted Sweet Beets. Pair any dish with a Watermelon Margarita and you’ll never want to leave! Located at 11965 224th Street.
Big Daddy’s Pizza & BBQ is serious pizza. They are the only pizza place in Canada that smokes ALL of the meat they put on your pie. Imagine that sizzling meat taste in every slice! We quite like the Chipotle Beef Pizza – chipotle sauce, smoked ground beef, smoked bacon, mushrooms, green peppers and red onions – yum! And if you’re feeling fancy, try out their full rack of Baby Back Ribs! Located at 640-22709 Lougheed Highway.
Bella Vita Restaurant brings fine dining to the countryside with fresh food and unique chef’s creations that will tempt your taste buds. Start out with the Coconut Prawns served with a spiced mango citrus sauce. They have an abundance of delicious entrées, including our favourite, the Oven Roasted Prime Rib. Succulent, juicy and served with the perfect Yorkshire Pudding. Located at 22471 Lougheed Highway.
Kingfishers Waterfront Bar and Grill will transport your mind and tummy to another world! Come for the gorgeous waterfront view, yet stay for the fantastic food and creative cocktails. The ingredients are freshly local, like the Kingfisher Tacos (your choice of the daily fish or slow-cooked Cuban style beef). Dive into their KFish Ultimate Burger: BBQ Pulled Pork, Capicolli, Bacon, Guinness Cheddar and two onion rings…more like heaven on a bun! Located at 23840 River Road.
Big Feast Bistro has been featured on the Food Network’s “You’ve Gotta Eat Here” – and we completely understand why. This little gem is a local favourite, with a blissful breakfast and lovely lunch menu. If you love waffles, you need to drop what you’re doing and order The Fat Elvis: Peanut Butter and candied Bacon waffles smothered in their smoked maple bourbon syrup. Located at 11920 227th Street.
G M Restaurant takes you on a journey through India with flavours so authentic to each region; you’ll swear you’ve been there. They focus on dishes that represent the culture and essence of India in each bite. If you’re feeling adventurous, try one of their Thalis (combo platters). We suggest the House Specialty Platter featuring Chicken, Lamb or Beef in Butter sauce, mixed seasonal vegetables, Daal, Raita, steamed rice, Rotis, pickled carrots and a superb mint chutney on the side. Located at 20726 Lougheed Highway.
The Mexican Gourmet is a fiesta in your mouth! Not only can you eat in, but you can buy their savoury sauces and create your own Mexican food at home. It probably won’t taste as good as the restaurant, though! They are known for their Tacos, so be sure to grab a few orders accompanied by the Chicken Enchiladas – muy bien! Located at 20757 B Lougheed Highway.
