Costco Canada Recall: Chocolate

The recall involves the Movie Night Gift Set (Costco Item #2069285), which was sold at Costco warehouses and online at Costco.ca between September 24, 2026 and October 16, 2026. Initiated by Morris National Inc., the recall is specifically for the gift sets containing the Lamontagne Milk Chocolate Bar (100 g) due to undeclared almonds.

“Most of the Movie Night Gift Sets contain the Lamontagne Milk Chocolate Bar (100 g). The Gift Set is being recalled because some chocolate bars labelled as a Lamontagne Milk Chocolate Bar (100 g) are actually the Lamontagne Milk Chocolate with Almonds Bar (100 g),” reads the notice.

The chocolate bars which contain almonds can be identified through their lot codes and best before dates. These are printed on the plastic overwrap of the bar.

What to Do

Those with the recalled products are asked to not consume them.

“Do not consume recalled products to which you are allergic or sensitive as they may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction. Do not serve, use, sell or distribute recalled products.”

By returning the Movie Night Gift Set to a Costco warehouse, you can receive a full refund.

For more information, consumers can contact Morris National by phone at 877-667-9338 from 8:30am to 4:30pm EDT.
