Snack Recall in Canada
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) lists the involved product as Smarter Snacks brand Vegan Protein Puff Chili & Lime Flavored snacks.
According to the notice, the affected product is being pulled from shelves due to undeclared milk. The notice does not list any incidents or injuries associated with the product, though.
“The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is warning people who are allergic or sensitive to the affected product not to consume the affected product because it contains milk which is not declared on the label.”
What to Do
People who are sensitive or allergic to the affected product are advised to not consume it.
“Do not consume affected products to which you are allergic or sensitive as they may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction.”
