Ride Breakdown at Richmond Carnival
Instagram user @604waldo642 took the video, showing the moment when the popular ride “The Zipper” stopped at West Coast Amusement’s annual carnival hosted at Lansdowne Centre.
The event reportedly occurred over the weekend, prompting concern from onlookers as they watched technicians climb the side of the broken ride to assess the situation. Thankfully, the incident was resolved with no issue, and the riders were evacuated without incident.

Commenters have expressed a wide range of reactions to the ride breaking down, with some saying that “it happens.” One user wrote, “Rides get stuck, even at big theme parks like Disneyland. Unfortunate? Yes for sure. But it happens, and I’ve been stuck before too.”
