Vancouver’s first season of professional women’s hockey is inspiring a new local collaboration.

PeelTea has launched a limited-edition Berry Hibiscus can celebrating the Vancouver Goldeneyes, marking the city’s inaugural season in the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL).

The special-edition cans are now rolling out across Metro Vancouver retailers, combining the city’s growing excitement around women’s sports with a homegrown beverage brand.

A can inspired by Vancouver’s newest hockey team

The limited-edition design features Berry Hibiscus, one of PeelTea’s signature flavours. The drink blends natural sweetness with refreshing botanical notes.

The can also showcases Bella the blueberry, PeelTea’s playful brand character. For this release, Bella appears in Goldeneyes-inspired style to celebrate Vancouver’s newest professional hockey team.

“Supporting women in sport is not just a campaign for us, it’s a commitment,” said Claire Reilly, Head of Marketing at Mizu Brands.

“The arrival of the Vancouver Goldeneyes represents an exciting new chapter for this city. We’re proud to celebrate that moment with a limited-edition can that brings together community, sport, and Vancouver pride.”

Where you can find the limited-edition cans

The Berry Hibiscus cans will be available for a limited time at select Metro Vancouver retailers, with a suggested retail price of $2.99 per can.

Locations carrying the cans include:

  • Fresh St. Market North Vancouver
  • Choices Market Yaletown
  • City Market (The Post)
  • City Market Arbutus
  • Your Independent Grocer Davie Street
  • IGA Burrard Street
  • Safeway Davie Street

Additional locations may also carry the limited-edition release.

Community activations throughout March

The partnership extends beyond retail shelves.

PeelTea will participate in a series of youth and community hockey activations throughout March, connecting directly with players and families involved in the sport.

At upcoming hockey events, PeelTea will distribute limited-edition cans to participants during event registration.

These activations will include youth divisions across several age groups, along with adult recreational programming.

The initiative aims to celebrate grassroots hockey participation while supporting the continued growth of women’s sport in Vancouver.

A milestone season for Vancouver hockey

The Vancouver Goldeneyes are currently playing their first season in the PWHL, a league that has rapidly gained momentum across North America.

Home games continue throughout March and April, including matchups on March 10, 14, 18, and 21, followed by games on April 14, 21, and 25.

As excitement around the team grows, partnerships like the PeelTea collaboration highlight the broader community support building around the Goldeneyes’ inaugural season.

The PeelTea x Vancouver Goldeneyes Berry Hibiscus can will be available for a limited time while supplies last.
