It’s finally happening: Vancouver’s very first Krispy Kreme is officially opening. And in celebration of this momentous occasion, Krispy Kreme will be celebrating by giving out some amazingly sweet perks— that includes free donuts!

Krispy Kreme’s debut Metro Vancouver location was in Delta, although for some folks that was a fairly far trek just to get some donuts. Now, Vancouverites will have their very own shop right in their neighbourhood, opening on December 16.
In celebration of Krispy Kreme’s first Vancouver location, they’ll be giving away 200 dozens of free donuts! This gives everyone in the community the chance to try these iconic glazed treats, perfect for sharing by the dozen. This is all happening on December 15 at 3:00pm at the corner of Cambie and West Broadway.

On opening day, Krispy Kreme Vancouver will be giving away 12 Golden Tickets to the first 12 guests in line. The tickets are more than just a novelty; they allow customers to redeem a free dozen Original Glazed donuts every month for a whole year. All you donut-lovers will definitely want to get your hands on these tickets, but you’ll have to do it quick. Krispy Kreme Vancouver officially opens on December 16 at 7:00am, so get there as fast as you can to get your hands on that coveted Golden Ticket.
No longer will Vancouverites have to make the long drive (or bus ride) to Delta. Now, their very own Krispy Kreme will be right in their neighbourhood.
