Port Coquitlam’s Car Free Day, presented by TransLink, shuts down McAllister Avenue and sparks a street‑wide festival full of live music, games, food stalls, community booths, electric vehicle displays, and good old‑fashioned neighbourhood energy. It’s about skipping the car, soaking up community vibes, and maybe trying out micro‑mobility all day long. 

What’s Going Down

  • Live entertainment across stages—music, DJs, performances, and more 

  • Family stuff—mini‑golf, obstacle courses, games, and micro‑mobility fun 

  • Food & drinks—local vendors serving up tasty bites and sips 

  • Community booths & EV displays—meet local groups, check out electric rides, and connect 

  • Bike valet—free, secure parking for bikes, scooters, strollers, and even rollerblades via The Bike Valet from 12 p.m.–8:30 p.m. at 2248 McAllister Avenue
