SKI magazine has just announced that Whistler Blackcomb is North America’s best overall ski resort!
The annual poll asked it’s 200,000 readers to rank 50 of North America’s best ski resorts. Not only did Whistler Blackcomb rank in as the best, it also received honours as best for terrain variety, second for service, lodging, après, digital presence, and off-mountain activities.
Dave Brownlie, president of Whistler Blackcomb believes that Whistler’s consistent and reliable snow fall, variety and size of their natural terrain, combined with their exceptional customer service are reasons why North American’s have rated Whistler Blackbomb so highly.
Whistler was also the only Canadian ski resort that made the cut this year! Last year, Whistler placed third. According to Tourism Whistler, more than 2,000,000 people visit the resort each year, around 1.25 million in the winter months and 1.46 million in the summer months!
