Gastro-awesomeness

You know how the restaurant scene in Vancouver is on point? Well, Langley just so happens to have the one of the highest amount of restaurants per capita. So not only can you save money on housing, you will have more money to spend on the stuff that really matters in life…food! A personal favourite is Bang Chok Dee Thai cousine. For all of you Veggies and Vegans, they have a wide selection of options for you, too!

Hikes and trails galore

If you consider yourself an “Outdoorsy Oliver”, then Langley is a great place to hang your hiking jacket. Langley is surrounded by the Coast Mountains and is home to some amazing hiking trails. Campbell Valley Park is a luscious place to take your kids, stroll through with friends or run solo. The Fort-to-Fort Trail at Derby Reach Regional Park is situated next to the Fraser River and takes you to historic Fort Langley.

Ocean lovers, unite!

If you like the great blue sea, sunsets and crispy fish and chips, then we’re sure you’ll love White Rock. Coincidentally, Langley is only 20 minutes away from this boardwalk beach! It’s a great place to bring your family for an early spring picnic – or give into your gelato craving at one of the many ice cream shops along the beachfront. We suggest Gelataria Italia!

The perfect blend of country and city

Langley borders Cloverdale – the town full of rodeos and cowboys. If you are a bit of a cowboy (or girl), but still enjoy the city bustle, Langley is the best of both worlds. The nightlife is pretty epic, too. Have you ever been to Gabby’s Country Cabaret? Even if you’re not into country jams, this place will make you want to yell “Yeehaw”. Aside from Gabby’s, Townhall Public House is a great place to catch the hockey game and hang with your buds while drinking some buds…or delicious craft beer. Whether you consider yourself country folk or a trendy hipster, they have 25 craft brews available for whatever your taste buds desire.

You may see the odd horse trotting down a dirt road. There may be a few too many cowboy boots beside you on the bus. Yet, Langley offers a unique blend of farmland and modern living at a very affordable price. And it’s a wonderful place to raise a little family of your own.
